Three of western Canada’s leading exponents of early music explore the transition from the sensibilities of the classical period to those of the early Romanticism. Music of Johann Christian (“the London”) Bach: Sonata for Violin and Guitar , Mozart, the young Beethoven: works for guitar & fortepiano, Haydn: Trio, Mauro Giuliani: 2 Rondos Op. 68, and Hummel Pot-Pourri Op. 53.
